Mentoring
Program
The purpose of this program is to provide active NAHSE Heartland members with the opportunity to interact with industry and like-minded individuals to foster professional growth. The program is intended to allow the members to coach and guide each other on their professional journey. This program is a vehicle for minorities to effectively participate in the design, direction, and delivery of quality health care to all people. Must be a member of NAHSE Heartland to participate.

Young
Professional
The Young Professionals Committee was established in 2018 to create a space for students and early careerists in NAHSE to learn, grow, and network. We need your help in making the YPC the best it can be. We are currently seeking Chapter YPC Co-Chairs and committee members. If you want to get involved or share your thoughts, please reach out.

Advocacy
Public Policy & Advocacy is essential to the mission of the National Association of Health Services Executives. Our Public Policy & Advocacy efforts will focus on ensuring that quality healthcare is affordable and available to all individuals, especially minority communities. We are currently seeking Chapter Advocacy Co-Chairs and committee members to represent each of the states within the Heartland Chapter. If you want to get involved or share your thoughts, please reach out.

Awards & Scholarships
The NAHSE Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to support minority students pursuing careers in health care management or a related field. We realize that finances are often a barrier to completing academic programs; therefore, we hope students who are in financial need will be encouraged to apply for these scholarships.
